Bismillahhirrahmanirrahim.
Alhamdulillah, all praise and thanks to Allah S.W.T., God the Creator of Nature, who makes humans interdependent in continuing life.
The role of the Research & Innovation Management Center (PPPI) of the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is to empower research activities towards producing renowned scholars and high-quality, high-impact research. It also aims to foster awareness and involvement of USIM’s academic staff in the field of research that is recognized nationally and internationally.
The Research and Innovation Management Center (PPPI) always appreciates the commitment and efforts of every researcher at USIM in increasing the productivity, quantity and quality of research results. PPPI always strives towards cultivating comprehensive excellence in all aspects as well as service delivery from the perspective of research and innovation at USIM. Customer satisfaction with PPPI’s services is getting higher and higher and this of course requires us to make continuous reforms so that we are always responsive, relevant, efficient, fast and effective in meeting customer demands and expectations.
With the existence of PPPI at USIM, it will be able to generate a strong collaboration with all faculties and centers of responsibility to carry out research and innovation activities. I hope that this kind of research and innovation culture can be applied among all researchers at USIM in parallel with the science of Naqli and Aqli coinciding with USIM’s philosophy in forming an excellent generation and a knowledgeable society.
Finally, I call on all those involved in research and innovation to prepare and strengthen themselves with knowledge in facing the challenges of today, especially in the face of pandemics, technological, socio-economic and cultural progress. With that, USIM will be able to achieve its mission of becoming a High Impact Glocal Islamic Sciences University by 2022.
